BIOGRAPHY
Saying Vancouver Canada's Angie Faith is a powerful vocalist is quite simply an understatement. Her clear resonant voice can cover crystal highs then dive to strong window shaking lows in the blues rock style. Angie Faith can command the soul of Aretha Franklin, infuse her performance with the vulnerability and presence of Adele; all the while commanding the shear vocal power of Miley Cyrus and Jesse J.
Raised in a musical and theatrical family, Angie was encouraged to perform from near infancy. She landed her first paying vocal performance at five; Began to star in musical theatre at age six; then in international commercials for Huggies, Crest Toothpaste and Nickelodeon by seven.
As a pre-teen Angie appeared as a background actor in popular TV programs such as The X-Files. During this time her musical appearances expanded as well to include regular performances in grocery stores such as Save on Foods, weddings, pubs, casinos, and The Fairmont and Hilton Hotel Chains.
A career highlight, Angie performed at the opening of the Olympic Oval for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Angie has also performed at the Vancouver Christmas Market which that year was attended by the Prime Minister of Canada.
She has played at a private three-day event in Mexico for Makita Tools; at the Music Talks Festival, hosted by radio stations Z95.3 and The Breeze 104.3 FM; and performs three times per month at Vancouver's Pacific Center which has over 22.1 million visitors per year through her ongoing live performance contract with Curbside Concerts.
In 2023 Angie won a cross country singing competition put on by Joy Burst natural energy drink, in conjunction with original hip hop super star Vanilla Ice, bringing home the grand prize of $10,000.
Angie has recorded at the legendary Warehouse Studios owned by Bryan Adams. She has also shared the stage with multi-platinum recording artist Fefe Dobson (Universal), Sony Music recording artist Tyler Shaw, and CBC Searchlight winners The Long War.
